Okay, I'm not so sure where to post this but...
...I got the idea to make a game but I need a team, the information about the game will be posted below. But first I need recruitment. Okay I need the following people:

• Very Good Modeler (Familier to making weapons from the military such as an M16 A2, also someone who can make Bipeds or characters vehicles)
  
  Some scripters and some programmers (I am reading many books and willing to take my time for classes)
  A very talented skinner
  
  (This project will take a lot of time so I will be planning this during the school time and making it in the summer or the vatation.

Games take a very long time to make, and yu can't just learn how to make one ina few weeks!!!!!!!!!

I have some experience with making games. and also i said i will attend classes for scripting and programing. plus, i never said i was going to wip p a game in a week, this might take a year and people will come and go[/quote]

what you dont have experience with is using quotes.....

Programming games is among the hardest things you can program, and you seem to be attempting a 3D game. This won't happen.

okay well i am making a 3rd person and a first person and like i said this will take maybe a year and im willing to work that long. stop posting about that i am trying to get help so if u can post please

itll take more than a year bud.....but i wanna know something....are you really serious about this?

U got no recources, U need software, an Engine, Time, Money, A crew, and Moddlers and Licencing. Not even EA can pump out a game over 3 months and they got hundreds of people working. So why do teens on a forum think they can make a quality 3D FPS over summer??

Start small like make a flash game or something.

yes i am very serious. i know it will take longer to make then a year and i never said three months. im not expecting to make a game like what bungie makes. but im saying that with a lot of classes that i am going to take i might actually be able to do this. but all im asking is for people to help me. please just stop asking questions and say if u want to help.

edit** also i was thinking of releasing a free demo with only 5 sp levels. then maybe being able to sell this game. if i can sell this game (im not going to say what it is until i get some willing volunteers) then you WILL get a cut of the profits. also if i dont get any volunteers i will post what the game is actually nm here:


this game is going to be about one of the wars and in the beginning u will have to choose a prebuilt squad in the demo but in the real version u can put ur own squad together. there will be a range of 10 to 15 levels and if i can maybe squeeze in a multiplayer if i get to that. u will be able to change from first person to third person


i am hoping to accomplish this task within the next 5 years yes a lot of time but only because i cant get a team to be around me so it will be WAY more difficult.

Summer Vacations are 2 1/2 to 3 months long.

yeah i no but like i said in the above post that it might take 5 years as i cant have a local team
