I am not sure if this has been done before nor can I do this myself (I am the worst modder ever. I can't do anything...) so I am assembling a team.

I have also been recruiting modders from Bungie.net forums so here is what I had posted there:
Before I say anything, I would like to point out that I am horrible at modding, this is why I am asking to put together a team. Now, onto the project

(sorry its a little long, bare with me.)

I had posted in this forum about creating AI players for HaloPC. It is very possible. I had read a forum off Halomods.com about a guy who created a map called "The Spartan Training Arena" (or something of that sort) where there were several AI Spartan Players hunting you down. It was very intersting. Then, by matching this idea with an earlier idea removed by Bungie from Halo: Combar Evolved, I came up with something great.

The Forernners created these rings so long ago, but who says the only creatures that were living on this ring were the Flood? I have decided to recruit a team of Modders who can create an entire Animal Kingdom for the world of Halo. (or just a few species of animals, w/e, its all good in gravy)

We will start with one creature, then move onto more species. Each species will have their own individual characteristics including how they react with players in the game. They are set more for that alien atmosphere but if they feel threatened, they will attack.

Just imagine for a second, Blood Gulch. Two teams in CTF. You load up a Warthog and begin to drive to the enemy base. Hitting up a hill like a ramp, you launch into the air, land then come to a screaching halt before a heard of these grazing horned creatures. One, feels threatened and lets out a call. The others react in defense and now you mount back into the Warthog and speed off before any damage is done.

Adding AI creatures will not only increase intensity of gameplay, but will also add a more alien atmosphere to your Multiplayer games.

Now, these creatures can be anything from very aggressive plants to massive aligators. This is an alien world, the creatures can be anything you imagine.

If you have any ideas for a creature, please post the description below along with a link to an image (if possible). If you wish to be apart of the team that starts this project, please PM me with your e-mail adress and information letting me know what you would be able to do for this project.
Okay, thats pretty much what I want to do. For more information, please go to this group site.

bungie created a small halo ce cinematic like this. The warthog full of marines was driving threw a field and a heard of these wierd animals was grazing there. the animals got scared and one charged at the incoming warthog blowing it up or somthing. The the marines would jump on and ride the animals. You have an interesting idea but i dont think the AI is complex enough to be made different for each animal, if there was just one kind then perhaps it would be possible

Setting a wide variety of AI attributes is no problem.
Making them run away or attack in groups, leap across the map etc....

Biggest problem is you want AI running around in a multiplayer CTF game
online.

Also, remodelling the various bipeds is one thing, figuring what happens
with the various nodes on the new models when subjected to the specific
ANTR of the underlying AI you have applied to it.....

Nice idea though. sorta Halo meets jurassic park.

Yeah I kind of gave up working on this and am just leaving it out for anyway to take it make it work. So if you want to try to make something like this, go ahead. Let me know how it turns out.
