Look at this thread and try master as many techniques as you can:

People nowadays like AI mods, BSP Conversions, and other advanced things like that. My advice is to make a mod that is fun. (Not a mod with auto-aim, unlimited ammo, or projectile swaps.) Play with weapon effects in real-time because weapon effects are always nice.

Look at Mr. Murder's Nightwinder 2 for example. Great effects, sounds, and it is really fun. Good luck!

I'd like a remake of Damnation - I'd be willing to dig out Halo 2 again if I had one of those... <3

How do you do real time editing?
I'm use the XDK Launcher to run UnleashX to run Halo 2, the debug IP is valid according to Entity, but the changes don't happen.

Are you clicking "Sync Xbox" in Entity's Meta Editor? Actually, I just remembered... Only one Entity can do Real Time Halo. I'll send you a PM. Also, try DarkShallFall's Effect Studio. That works flawlessly.

The YeloDebug DLL is useless to you unless you are using it for programming. If you want to do Real Time Halo, you will need a debug IP. Search on Xbox-Scene for the information. Once you have a debug IP, remember the IP, load up Halo 2, Enter the IP in Entity, make a change to a tag, go to the Meta Editor and click the button "Sync Xbox". Done.
