I was woundering if there was a way to edit the sounds with out H2ST(halo 2 sound tools). not just swap it for another existing sound but edit the actual sound because I have vista which doesn't like to be compatible w/ other programs :) and can't use H2ST so IF there is another way or another program that I could do this with please post here would really like to do this :(

Sadly, Halo 2 Sound tools is the only program available that extracts, injects, and internalizes sounds properly. It doesn't work because of CodeVeil. CodeVeil is an assembly protector. Once it protects an application, the application is usually only compatible with the Operating System it was programmed on. (Windows XP) There are a few programs that extract sounds, but none that inject.

We talked about it over AIM... You tried it and it didn't load. Does it work for you now?
