Skinning Question

Ok I was playing Mountains in the mist by Greennc and noticed the skin was one of the best I've seen and since I was making a mod on the same map I looked through it in entity and noticed some of the stuff was different so It such as:

how do you make it so it don't cut the stuff out like that? and don't say it's bump map because I did costume bump maps too.
but I would really like to know how to do this so please help me :(

Its the Alpha channel.

cool I found it in PS but what do I do to make it go away?

You shouldn't delete an alpha channel of a format that uses one. In some cases it corrupts the bitmap if the alpha is missing.

If you don't want the alpha to affect it then make it solid white, not delete it.
