There's a take video button command that you push that will do something like that. It takes a lot of pictures while you're doing whatever you're doing, then you put all the pictures into a video editor and speed up the video play, so it will appear to be a video.
It will not have sound, of course.
The button command is: white+dpad-left

In addition to JK's post, be sure to press white+d-pad left again when you're finished, other wise your xbox will fill up with hundreds of screenshots. :p

Yelo's capture is 10 frames per second, IIRC. You can also slow down time drastically, then take the screenshots manually (white + back) and put them together into a much smoother movie. Someone posted a tutorial about how to do this in the tutorials section.

CaptainPoopface's way can produce a smoother framerate vid but is time consuming.
JK's way is simple, eaiser, and far less time consuming. However it also produces a framerate thats not as smooth.
I'd try JK's method first and if you want a smoother vid then try CPF's.

If you are using a PC, which I presume, then shouldn't windows movie maker be fine to use?
Or am i straying to far from the subject??

get a capture card. They are not expensive. Is the economic recession this bad?
edit: didn't see xXFeRcHoXx's post. Great minds think alike I always say.
