If I remember correctly, Mimesis lets you play certain modded maps on XBL. Now, I don't have live anymore, let alone with my modded xbox, but they're still playable on XBC, and I think the 1.1/1.5 update would stand, seeing as how they're supposedly playable on XBL. I was wondering if there was anyone who likes the idea of having competitive play on some of the modded maps from Mimesis. Not so much the single player-converted maps, since those are usually big and flashy and just for show, but some of the simpler, but coolers ones, like Cassiopeia (my favorite).

What do you guys think?

No. It was at one point playable on xbox live. But that was not the point of mimesis. Nor do any of the creators condone playing the maps on xbox live. Now, competitive gameplay via xlink or xbconnect would be prime. I see no harm in that. Although you may have quite the tough time finding enough people to be there. Or atleast keep showing up...

Yea, I don't want to do it on live, I just want to play on those maps with the update so it would play like halo 2 does now, but with some of the cooler maps.

Me and a few of my friends on xlink play these maps, but usually its very late at night, say 2-5am EST

Well I'd like to see this take off but chances are it will fail. I don't like the be the pessimist but even the Beta Testers weren't very reliable for testing new maps before publishing. I am credible only because I belonged to the test team.
