shaders maybe?

ok so after applying some new textures to my skin I've noticed that it has became really shiny and is almost blinding to look at, at certain angles. heres a picture

any ideas on how to fix this?

I see that texture needs a bit of work still....

Well, you can always try to give it a good ol' shader swap (with all kinds of different shaders). That's where I'd start. The next thing I'd do would be darken the lightmap a bit using Uber Lightmap Tool. If both of those fail, I'm not sure what you do. It's been a year since I've skinned anything.

yea but the texture still looks a hell of a lot better. I'll try what you suggested and post back my results

Depends on the Shader used, but its probably your alpha map, along with the shader having a cranked up number for its reflection map.
