Doom Style: Turf
I've got plenty of ideas for a new mod
But i'm going to need some tips and help to make it
1. New Powerup = Invincibility, one hit kills and faster speed: Temporarily Try to replace either the overshield power up or active camo so it gives these effects.
2. Modify weapons = BFG 9000, Fist, Plasma Gun thingy (you know which one

and
3. Darker Turf = lightmap editor
4. Master chief and Elite edits = make them look.. human perhaps?
A. I am going to replace both master chief and elite with the humans at the start of delta halo level.
5. Ai possibly? (might have to edit [biped] for zombie e.g doom3)
Maybe future mods?
6. Red or fire sky edit = flame sky anyone?
Possible (Linking a ctrl to a new [sky] tag overlapping original [sky] tag)
e.g activate control all hell breaks lose
7. Edit nades = no need really
I have begun modding but I haven't yet made up my mind on many things so I hope some can help me with this.
*edit* I have made up my mind on a few more things
Nearly begun on the fist weapon, should be easy.

You want project recruitment. Sounds like a fun mod. Lot of work tho.

To get project recruitment would turn my insides into jelly!
But I doubt many people would want to help
I know there is a lot of work to be done, But I really want to get this underway, before my exams at school haha

A lot of that just sounds like model editing and skinning, easy yet incredibly time-consuming and frustrating. As for the powerups though...man pull that off and that would be soooo sweet.

And yea With the Active camo, I think I have an idea..
Maybe have many effects activate on say a raterizer for the active camo tag?
Not sure But I hope I'll figure it out

I'd go with the overshields if I were you as it already has the shield modifier, which would make your life so much easier...

That's what I was thinking
but then again I did want to test my skill by making a different kind of 'overshield' e.g No health going down at all (only temporarily)
But I suppose that really is out of my range
Thanks I will use the overshield as an option now

I made a Doom mod a while back.
Wasnt to great. But im alot better at modeling and modding since.
Maybe I can help you. Play that map and maybe you will get some ideas.

It's given me a few ideas
I am deadset On Importing The BFG 9000
I luv that gun so bad
The problem is
To get a good quality pic of the BFG 9000
with a white backround is quite hard
and starting from scratch..
it's a big gun
I have also realised modeling will be hard without photoshop
I will have to bear with paint
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Yea Hud is simple just the weapon ideas I have And the powerup
I really hope I can get this done sooner or later

Sorry for not replying. My saturday is tomorrow march 22, and about the msn i'd rather PM. I have to use my PSP to browse the webs. cuzz my dad doesn't have internet(thats where i'll be). But my psp is modded so theres a yahoo messenger for psp.

*downdate* got halfway done, and was ready for incoming mods from helpers
and my map crashed no longer opens..
So that sucks just a bit
