H2: Killtrocity (or any other ISO) on 360 help

I have followed all instructions, made the iso, and burned it to a disc. I put the mappack DVD in my 360 and it read it just fine, at the bottom it came up as "Halo 2", but when I try and load it, it says "This original xbox game has encountered a problem and cannot continue". There were no errors in the patching, ISO creation, or burning processes from any app, all maps were clean, and I have triple checked the game layout and patched the default.xbe. Can someone please fill me in on what I'm doing wrong?
Programs used:
Serenity auto-patcher, CXbox, Nero 8 burned to maxell dvd-rw.
I doubt my 360's DVD firmware would be the problem, otherwise it would come up as "multi-media disc".

you cant play killtrocity on a 360 (AFAIK the patching of the .xex is the reason since you cant resign it back to orig) <--please correct me if im wrong

Nup. All you need is the modded dvd firmware and you can play any burned game...that works right apparently >.<.
And it doesn't use .xex . I'm burning it as an original xbox game, not as a 360, therefore the original four .xbe's from Halo 2 are still used, just patched to remove the autoupdate.
I tried renaming the default.xbe to "Halo 2: Killtrocity" but got a backwards compatible error, so I'm trying normal "Halo 2" and I get the aforementioned error.

Try not using a patched xbe, And uninstall the au from your xbox
Then it should work because the xbe is properly signed

I'll try a clean xbe, but there's no way I can get to my 360's hd, I don't have an XSATA.
EditZ: Nope. Phail. Could I mby just delete all the data I have for Halo 2?
EditZZ: It may be a problem with the bik's, mainmenu, or shared. I'll burn off a clean H2 and see how that works.

I've tried Qwix and CXbox for making the iso, I'm pretty sure it's an xiso. The clean Halo 2 didn't work either

. Same error. I'll download xIso and see if it helps.
Hmm...it stalled for a long time before it gave me the error this time...here's a link displaying the codes btw:

Halo 2 needs a patch on your hdd for backwards compatabality, do you have it?

Yes, like I said, I changed the xbe back to "Halo 2" and got rid of the backwards compatibility error.

A question, If I don't even touch or mod my killtrocity map pack, will I still be able to use it on live?

if you read my last reply to you... you would realize that you get banned here for modding on live so dont do it

don't mod on xbox live. why would you even want to? >_>
get xbc, or xlinkkai, for your online modding.

Sorry, I forgot to check that forum... hehe thanks.
I'm guessing they now have a mod detector?

who xbox live?
No Scheiße
If they did not have a 'mod detector', xbox live would not be fun at all
with all the horrible cheaters and auto-aim.
They don't need that.
If you are wanting to mod maps use them in Xlink kai or Xbc as Zachary had said
(hope you don't mind if I call you that

)
