the thing is People don't normally have music in their gameplay due to distraction and frustration listening to others talking through mics or other reasons.

What your doing is a nice thought

But people normally leave music for the 'making a Halo 2 random movie type thing'

could be usefull in sp maps

Yea sp maps might be quite good with a bit of eerie music or even Some rock kinda music in battle scenes

When I think about it more it's quite a good idea to advertise your music because people would love to have music playing for Single Player maps
At oppurtune times

I, Personally just play multiplayer maps and don't bother with the SP
maps, so yea

It's really up to the people

It's a community centered around Halo machinima. Lots of moviemakers over there are interested in original music.
