RTH needs a debug xbox or a retail xbox running illegal files,
what it does is it allows you to connect entity to your xbox in game it has a limited amount of tags it can edit on the fly (I don't know exactly which tags) but it is damn handy for research and perfecting weapon/effects edits as theres no >resign>ftp>load H2>load map>test

but the files are illegal so this is the most information about it you'll prob get he

*Staff I behaved myself but if even this kind of reply is not tolerated please delete*

yes you need make it a debug console, with some app (it dosent permenatley make it one, just for the time being) then you put you ip in entity and itll connect and you can change CERTAIN things, not like bsps and stuff just small things like sky changes and i think projectiles. i did it along time ago to help foxfanatic out.

Is this app legal or illegal?

RTH is RealTimeHalo, Its a process of editing the memory of your xbox. So tings are stored in 1 part of memory and others are stored in another. One of the memorys can be edited and what ever is edited will be changed ingame. Things like models, weapons, huds, vehicles, projectiles, effects and all the other small and not to major objects in a map file can be edited then the meta of the object will be updated. The current application called entity can do it but not as proper as it should. Inception however can do it 100% proper. Its alot of fun and can save alot of time. You do however need a Debug xbox or an xbox with a Debug bios for the process to work.

I've looking at RTH myself. Would using Entity's BSP Editor work in RTH?
So like I can place something in the viewer, and the game will update
the map while playing and the moved object will be there?

i've been reading on OpenXDK (the only legal XDK available) and it doesn't work on 1.6 version xboxs unless u want a brick, so im throwing in mah towel and giving up :(

Doubt it. I think object placement is read when the map loads.

Like I said small not to major tags the scnr tag is pretty big in a map.

That's also just libraries for writing software for the xbox, it has nothing to do with running RTH. You need a debug bios, which there are no legal options for that.
