HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

ok. ive done this at least 100 times. ive made progress on custom sounds in Halo2ST before, but this one is driving me crazy. i cant save it correctly. when i inject all the sound files, i get:

"You are not 1337. File will be truncated to fit space." (<--something like that)

ive tried different xbox .wav types, but each one sounds wierd and get the same error (sometimes even "You are not 1337. File will be inject but the rest will be a null.").

now i realize a lot of ppl have vista and cant even open this app. but if u do have XP, could u plz help me?

it means that the sound you are injecting is bigger then the one you are replacing. It only cops off the extra length to make it the same, but you sound is still injected.

actually, i made it 100% the same length. i should upload the sound (as to what it sounds like =P)

i think its something with the format. unless the sound is supposed to be scratchy ... lolz

Are you using Sony Sound Forge to get the correct format?

try making it like 1 or 2 seconds shorter. I noticed some sound programes will add a cuple milliseconds making it larger.
