Ok, so a new modding idea props up into my ol' noggin and I find out that I will need a lot of shti in the sky. Almost like moons. Just a sky with a shit load of stuff in the sky; part of the sky: moons, ships, ring...

Ok so does anyone have any hands on experience with skies and can regulate some sort of number of "things in the air" so I can use that sky. Basically, lets say...

I need to put Hasselhoff's face on the moon on coag. Well, I need like 8 moons in order to have the entire Babe Watch actors/actresses for my mod. So, instead of using my method of mattes (likes I used for Duff World characters) I would like to find a sky with a lot of stuff in it so I can easily change the bitmaps of those "things" in the air.

Do you understand?
I tried to break it down into Babe Watch...hopefully that helped. :P
hahaha Babe Watch...Bay Watch

I can model and separate shaders so it is an easy task.

Well, I don't think I want to model one. I just want to find on in sp.

The sky is made out of a model which has like "layers" of mesh planes + different shaders, so you could do as Dark said or directly edit the mode tag and try to "clone" the part of the model which is the moon mesh/shad

Or just do it the easyest-ish way which would be your original idea DoorM4n...

Use the planes and resize them, then just move them to the place you want them and give them the shader you want.

I mean depending on how your looking at it it is the best way...

true, but these things in the sky are supposed to be VERY noticable. They are meant to stand out. Anyway, I think I will go with my orig plan of spawning shit in the sky. It would only require 4 or 5

Making one model mgith be good though... :?

It would be the same thing; using the cinematic plane you switch the bitmap; add some alpha transparencies and its a perfect looking image; the sky does the exact same thing...
