What is the Ugh! tag?

Something I haven't understood, was the Ugh! tag, whats the whole bit about the "I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts" tag? Would someone kindly mind explaining it to me? Its been bugging me forever.

It's what everything runs through. The superb being in the maps.
Of course I can't explain this that well.

lets just say everything(sounds bitmaps models) gets refrences in the ugh!tag with a stringID. the StringID contain a meta offset and a tag. The reason when you trasnfer somehting and it has currupted sounds, is because the StringID did not get transfered, and the sound is not refrenced.
