Hexing Mainmenu?

Ok, I have tried many attempts to skin the bitmap image that says Halo 2. The one you see when you start the game. I erase Halo 2 in Adobe Photoshop, but when I write Modded Halo 2 and inject it back in, It still says Halo 2! I can see Modded Halo 2 in the text, but I am hearing that you have to hexedit it. So, what do I have to do?

delete everything in you X, Y, and Z drives then load halo 2.

I don't know if that'll work. I skin it, but It looks like that in Entity as well.

I still can't figure this out. I know it has somehing to do with hex.

are you trying to change the text in the menu ex campaign xbox live or like the halo 2 text?

No. I'm trying to change the big, bold Halo 2 that appears right when you start the game.

That's a bitmap, not text.

I know it is a bitmap. I erase everything, and edit it to my liking, but it still says Halo 2 and I can see my custom skin inside it.

I figured it out finally. I just nulled the alpha layer. I finally did it! This took me forever to figure out. I guess it didn't have anything to do with hex.

Oh sorry, I thought you were looking in hex for a string that refers to the 'Halo 2' text at the beginning. Guess I misunderstood.

It's ok. I fiddled around with it a bit more in Photoshop and I eventually got it. Problem solved! Thanks for trying to help!

I actually really figured this out on my own. But I have asked a lot of questions and nobody ever replies. At least people try and help and I appreciate that a lot. Even though it didn't work, at least they tried to help.
