skinning on a mac?

ive been wondering about it and i love to do it if i could. I already have photoshop (cs

to be exact and i know that it cannot open .dds's. so my question is, is it possible? im pretty sure you can on ce so why not halo 2??
and help would be greatly appreciated, and im sorry if this is in the wrong section

It is in the wrong section, but it should be a simple problem to fix. If the Mac version of Photoshop is at all similar to the PC-based one, then all you should need is
this plugin. Hope this helps.

i tried that and it still said cannot open...it goes in the file format correct??

That's odd. o_O You should just be able to drop it into the plugins folder and restart Photoshop and then try opening them. What format are the other file format plugins in? .8bi?

yes there all .8bi's but they have plugin icons. I doubt that matters, and yea it is odd that it doesnt work. Ill try again. Thanks for you input so far.
