getting secondary trigger on PP working

I hate the PP but I like grenades so I thought do a projectile swap a jmad swap a bit of a spawn offset movement and give the proj a speed of 10 and change some aging values and you have a PP that when fired looks like you have thrown a grenade this works.
Problem 1
What do I adjust so that there is a delay from the R trigger being pulled to when the proj spawns (this is so it is sync'd with the throw grenade jmad)
Then I got adventurous (big mistake!) I thought ah ha left trigger 4 possible grenades (I only want 3 but you get me) I followed the tut here and it just didn't work so I thought I was being slack and tried it again using the weapon in the tut this time (BR firing tank bullets on left trigger *yawn*) and that worked as it should so i tried again (btw my chosen map is colossus and it is composed a bit differently to most maps) on cyclotron (written the same way as colossus) and it worked, sort of, left trigger spawned a charged bolt fantastic I thought but I had cloned chunks so it should have been tank bullets and couldn't change what was spawned from the left trigger and from then one it has either not worked or crashed the xbox (when I tried a random tweak)

has any one managed to get the left trigger working on the PP

can anyone think of grenades that should be used with this gun (so far I have HSM's cluster grenade, acemods spiker grenade and my own suicide grenade)
