HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

Ive been searching through halomods here and cant an XBE editor, i want one so i can edit the pic and title of default.xbe sdo i have mulitple Halo 2's and actually see which one is which.

Ive tried Halo2USE, but it errored on opening the default.xbe.

Help plz

get Avalaunch. It can rename xbe's. I think unleashx can do the same thing as well but I'm not sure.

I'm not sure how you can change the pic, Maybe search at xbox-scene for it.

o, renaming is very easy, i mean the internal name, like what it displays for a game, such as the list in XBMC, so that title and the internal pic, that stuff.

Just hex it, open the xbe in a hex editor, and press ctrl + f to search for whatever the internal name is(what your xbox dash displays), then when it gets to it, on the right side of the editor type over the letters with what you want, you have to type one letter and then press the right arrow key between letters. If you have any trouble post back here.

Then you're opening the wrong file. You need to use the original XBE, from the disc.

It could be that, or I remember getting an error because I was missing an ocx file I think. I can't remember if it errored on program start or opening the xbe.

changing the picture is easy goto your dashboard for unleash goto games
the xbe pic yu want to change and goto options i think its back and then
it should say preview icon i think change that
and you can hex edit the xbe name.
