AI

this is what i did to TRY to get ai to spawn...

opened a sp map in entity ai and clicked on the char tag and saved the char in its own folder i named it "elite" then with out closing the sp map i opened the mp map and built it in and it was successful with out erroring! now i windowed horizontaly and went into the scnr tag of both maps and copied vehicle pallate weapon pallate ai squad types ai squads and characters. i closed the sp map and went in to the meta editor whent down to ai and checked in mp spawn and respawn enable and edited the # of ai to swan and coords and when i start it with yello it freezes in the pregame lobby!!! >=(

follow it to the letter with your character. it never failed me :D

And if that didn't work then your elite may have been corrupted during transfer. I always use insolence when transferring char tags. Never fails.
So basically try again on a fresh map, I had the exact same problem before.

Have you nulled the UDLG (Unit Dialogue) tag within the CHAR (Character) tag? If so, follow my AI in MP tutorial. It uses H2Core to build the character into the map, so nothing gets corrupted.
