How do i open maps in entity 1.3.9 cause everytime i try too open a map it says main menu map not found
And yes i have the main menu.map in the folder with the map i wish too open it in.

I'm guessing then that there's a 'settings' button somewhere on one of the menubar's menus; where you set all your map paths.

the directory your map is in. and if you cant get past this then dont bother modding. no afens but you have to know you basics. not that im saying your stupid cause i had trouble with that to, but i mean if you cant figure out where your maps are. lokk in entitys folder, you should see one called setting. open that and change the directory paths in the text file

So what do i do exactly when i hit settings and what do i do there? and what do i put? -.-;;

You don't deserve the name 1337 more like nOOb double 0 zero but I'll help ya.......once
Entity wants to and needs to know where the mainmenu.map file is it also wants to know where the SP shared.map and the shared.map is (these are on your disc if not already on your pc) some versions of entity you can just tell entity where it is, other versions you need to have these 3 files in the same folder as the map you want to mod, It can also give this error if any of the 3 maps and the map you want to mod are read only (inturn right click each map, properties and see if it is read only) and sometimes entity is just being weird (I get it saying it cant find it too for no real reason) click continue and open another tag (proj normally behaves) it should work if that fails get a fresh copy of netframework from Microsoft if it still fails use fresh copies of all 3 maps if that fails get a fresh or different copy of entity if that fails grab a cup of tea and a biscuit
The best advice I can give to a newb modder is have a comfy chair and keep your screen resolution low cos you have A LOT of reading to do before you can ask any intelligent questions

the problem was i didn't understand him at all but i figured it out so thanks anyways. ^^
