One shot weapon concept?
One shot weapon concept?
i was just thinking, since the sword's attack was a melee, was there any way for the assault bomb to use that attack. From there you could change the projectiles i guess... so basically its tricking the bomb to think it's meleeing and making it drop the bomb... will this work?
umm wat?

It's easy enough to make the bomb fire a projectile, or make the sword fire a projectile and then swap its jmads for the bomb animations.
The problem is that if a weapon is set to "drop when fired," it is dropped when the button is pressed, not when the projectile actually fires. So even if the bomb can fire a projectile, it will be dropped before it does.
I suppose you could come fairly close if you shorten the jmad time of the "put away" animation to 1 ms or however short it can go. It's possible that holding the trigger slightly longer might both drop the weapon and toss a grenade or fire the other weapon you're holding. But then the dropped weapon has nothing to do with your real ammo, and picking it up is just for window dressing.
I think this idea is dead in the water. Sorry.
Xzodia's tutorial for single-use weapons works for multiplayer, but it may not be SLC (I am still not certain that it was adequately tested).
Xzodia's suggestion for heat detonation seems like the next most likely prospect.
