I found a Hammer of Dawn from Gears in Halo 2!

How would I create this hammer of Dawn Sentinial Beam Mod? I think he's using a wraith shot with the X, Y and Z coordinates change with a contrail editor. But, I don't know what the impact effect and other tags he's using are. Please! I'm making a gears mod, and I will credit and thank you if you can help. P.S. Give me an SPPF of this mod and I'LL LOVE YOU!!!!
I mainly want to know what the ground effect is...

That is not close to what the hammer of dawn is like other than the sky part... Give the sentinal beam a charge time and the projectile to spawn at 20 in the Z coordinates. I have no clue about the effects when it hits the ground.

Im'a thinkin' the same as when the scarab beam hits something? And yeah that really isn't much like the Hammer, good try though.

I know, it's not my mod, i've made one, but i didn't have a good ground effect. If someone can figure it out, i will credit you in my final mod.

Well I would assume somewhere along the lines of 'Scarab Gun'. Look around the weap class for it, and then either transfer that, or just compare to a normal plasma rifle and edit accordingly. And you'll probs. find the most changes in the proj and jpt! tags the weap is dependent upon.

Alright thanks, this is what i did for my hammer but i don't know if i should use the Scorpion shell or the sniper shot because i forget if it has an explosion or not. Here's what i did: Changed the projectile Min and Max speard or accacuary (forgot what it was called) to 0.01 and 0.001 the charge time to 4 got rid of plasma amount and shaped the contrails when the Min and Max is changed it starts as four beams and they combine togather. Also, you need to change projectile amount to four.

If you're doing this in turf, don't bother.
The projectile for the scarab gun is already in Turf, no transfers needed. It's somehow linked to the scarab, and since the level has a scarab it has it too.
