water fluctuation

does anyone know of a script or another way to make the water level of a map fluctuate?

I dont think its possible because water is just a plane in halo 2.

yea i guess, i was just wondering of a way to have two places on the z cord for it to move up/down to.

It's perfectly possible.
Because if you have a script to make a lift go up and down you can alter the script to make the water level fluctuate during gameplay. :lol:

if im right that wouldnt work cuz the whole water level would rise... as in when the scrpit ran the water... it would stay at norma levle but suddenly go up higher..

if your lookung for waves (which i think you are). the you woul have to tell it to raise a certain part of the water then move it forward. but that would be kinda hard

I just thought of something, if you look at the water its already moving, just not a whole lot. So what I think you'd need to do is change the hight its moving somehow.

Haven't you seen the waves at the shore line of zanzibar?
They are made with a script to just edit that script to make the waves go further inland and you have raising water.
