well, my computer is not so "top of the line".... so i removed zanzibars bsp so i could focus just on the zanzibar wheels that i cloned.
was that completely stupid?

no, in fact theres a very useful app out there for removing the bsp
I'll link you up in a minute.
lol nvm I'm too lazy, but anyways theres an application called bsp editor that has a "remove bsp" option. I've tried it and it works well so I would use it if I were you
just use the search button

It didn't really "remove" the bsp, more like hid it or nulled it. The BSP data is still in the map. You can use H2C/H2G to take apart the map completely, then rebuild it with a different bsp.
I wrote a
tutorial on it.

It will load, all the BSP is, is the level structure: the ground, walls, buildings, ceiling, ect. Think of it as a big object. Removing it would be just like removing a mach, or a scen object from the map, just on a larger scale.

another thing Zone,
after i "removed" the BSP, i went in the BSP viewer and saw some rocks, part of the sea wall, some ground on the beach, and some concrete.
could someone walk on these things or is the collision completely gone along with the BSP???

the collision for the bsp is gone
those things you see
are bsp scenery
in the meta editor in entity for sbsp
you can move the z coordinates for all the bsp scenery to 1000
that should move all of em
and youll never see them again

You can also move it in Prey's
Visual Scenery Mover

Any current way of moving bsp permutations destroys it's collision. So when you move the permutations you will walk right through it. No current apps recalculate it's collision. So if you plan on moving it...don't plan on walking or even spawning on it lol.
