modeling skinning with milkshape

i am making a model called covenant br and i need to know how to skin it using milkshape by like changing the colors of it and stuff please i really want to get this done so i can release it its a big mod for beaver creek it should be done here in a few weeks cause i have to keep learning new stuff but it will eventually be done
