Well no one can help you with what you have told us. Just pop in the halo 2 game and pull it straight off the disc so it is completely clean again. 100% full proof unless your ftp program is whack.

ok but then i have to add maps to the mainmenu again but still i have no clue how this happened. The only thing i was doing is putting maps to the mainmenu.

It always sucks when that happens after alot of mainmenu work but it is all I can think of. If you just had the new maps grab a patch for it in the download section. What program did you use to edit the mainmenu.
