Muzzle flash position

I did the model exactly right. I just need to know how to move the muzzle flash to the new end of the gun. Right now it appears in the middle.

Step-by-step description, if you can, please. I'm relatively new to this, and I don't quite know what everything does yet.

If I could get help tonight, that would be great. I'd like to have this map done by tonight.

Try not to double post. I can't know for sure but look in the weapon tag and find muzzle flash. I believe its in there and see if you can change the position.

It's not in there. I figure it's probably editable if I could access the trigger (where the gun muzzle actually is), but I don't know how to get to the trigger. Any help?

Yea, it's in the mode tag.

The only things in there besides the model dimensions are "U" and "V" boundings. Can you tell me what those represent, and how to operate them to achieve the desired result?
Thanks.

If someone could answer this, it would be great, I'm having a simiolar problem. I changed the smg to an MP5, but the flash happens in middle of the MP5, where the old smg bore was with the old model. What do I use to move the flash?

in the mode tag, there are things called markers in the meta editor. These markers are named, so finding the one you need isn't hard. Each marker has an X, Y, Z positioning. Simply find out the coordinates of the barrel end on your model, and put in those coordinates for the muzzle flash marker.

The marker you are looking for is named "muzzle_flash". Its usually the first one in the marker reflexive.

Hey gunner the marker is found in Entity, It's called primary_trigger (#3 for the SMG) I hope that helps, I'm testing it now!
