1) I was wondering how to be in third person instead of first the whole time for my new mod. I know this is possible, just never found a tutorial.
2) Have you ever noticed on some campaign levels, when the marine gets shot at and he hides on a wall, instead of the chief standing behind the wall for cover? Is this possible?
3) Dojorkan helped me with this one.

You could swap the crouching animation for that cover animation.

You need to set his permutation's string_ID correctly.
in the HLMT you should see a bunch of stuff like default_nrl, odst_cky, johnson, ect.
Pick the one that you want, go to the BIPD and change the permutation to what ever one of those you picked.
Same thing with elites and brutes, except with different names.
If you put in a string ID that doesnt match, you will get the random armor glitch. For example, Bungie themself used a elite permutation that wasnt on that map so it came up with this:
http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Honor_Guard_Councilor
Since the strings IDs dont match, the game doesnt know what the hell your guy is supposed to have, so its picks whatever.
