hey guys, whats up. i have found over 4 different topics asking how to get singleplayer sounds into multiplayer. (i myself have one and none has been able to help yet) So, as a result, i have decided to open this thread.
Alright, heresd the way i want this to work:
*you modders post anything you know on how to get sounds from single player into multiplayer (that work, please, dont be an ass , in other words, test em first.)
and then, i will post them right here:
*entity (though sounds dont work for some people).
hope you guys can help so we can get some deffinite answers out of this,

hey guys i had an idea, but i need to know if itll work first though- if you transfer the phantom in insolence, (and with entity sounds dont work for me, and they dont in insolence either) would you be able to go into halo sound tools and internalize the sounds then INJECT the sound??? if so, this would solve my biggest problem...

okay you know what? i am tired of this. how many times do i post something, and people say the same things. do you people read??? i have said "WHEN I TRANSFER (EITHER DRAG AND DROP OR SAVE AND REBUILD) WITH SOUNDS, RECURSIVE, AND PARSING CHECKED (AND THAT LITTLE SCAN WITH ENT SHIT) IT DOES NOT WORK. WITH DRASG AND DROP, IT FREEZES. WITH SAVE AND REBUILD, WHEN I PUT IT IN, THERE ARE NO SOUNDS. PLEASE JUST SOMEBODY TELL ME WHAT THE HELL IS UP WITH THIS!
listen, im sorry i flamed, but ive been modding since i joined this forum, (almost two 1/2 years ago now) and have never run into a problem like this. all i want is a phantom on containment with working sounds. thats all. and it wont work. i just cant get it. so i ask for help, and people dont read.
ps please dont be an ass and respond "oh i did read your post" please if ur not gonna post something useful, dont post!

1. dont use scan with ent, its shit
2. you have to tick the boxs when you save a rebuild, in case you didnt know

what do you mean by save a rebuild? is this something u have to do? can ujust like give me a short little cheap ass tut? like will this give me working sounds? and every time i try to rebuild i get this unhandled exception error: "Object reference ot set to and instance of an object"
im sick of this. one problem after the next. what the fuck should i do??!!?

K you have to tick recursive parsed and sounds, and extract the meta, I guess Xodia would recommend unticking scan with ent(I've never tried that, but it might be worth doing)
Now don't rebuild it into your map if you're talking about clicking tools->rebuild, because that doesn't work.
In containment you have to click recursive parsed and sounds before you click build and hopefully that will work hopefully.

for the 19hundreth time! that does no work for me. i click all three at both times and when i play the map, the vehicle works fine, but there ARE NO SOUNDS. thats it! NO fucking SOUNDS!
is there anybody out there who could possible try this, and if it works, send me a patch? (putting a phantom into containment with sounds)
