hey im working on making a trip mine like the one in H3 but i've run into a few...no lots of of problems.
For the model i just compressed the fusion coil into a small square with the fins removed, with several spheres inside to fill in the space (for the size requirement)
First of all, i cant get the mine to explode properly, sometimes if i shoot it, it will explode, sometimes it doesnt.
Next sometimes the "mine" doesnt appear.
uhm perhaps someone could put up a step by step guide?
I've done the exact thing that you have and the stupid model won't inject.
Sorry, anyway I think I remember hearing that you can't make the model smaller, only larger. But I believe there is an easy way around that.

yager u need to remodel the collision of the fusion coil to change where u shoot and I dont think the size thing is a factor anymore but I may be wrong
No theres a tool that will extract the coll model of a tag and let u edit it with a 3d modeler check the utilities section, also theres a tutorial for this in the tutorials section
your problem is probably in the fact that your trying to change the FUSION_COILS model... change the pallet_model, then relink it in the HLMT of you "trip mine".
