4 player co-op?

Is it possible using yelo for AI to switch say waterworks for regret and play it as 4 plyr co-op?

No. You might be able to manage an SP>MP conversion and re-add AI, but you'll never get true 4 player co-op. Its impossible as far as I know.

when i read the title i thought you ment play single player coop with 4 players...which might be possible...*waits patiently for turk to come online*...

Even if it was possible, you'd have to mod all of the SP maps to support players 3 and 4. Simplest problem is that they don't have spawn points, but they are also not in the scripts, so you'd have to edit all of the scripts as needed to support players 3 and 4, otherwise they won't get pulled through loading zones, or spawned correctly during+after cutscenes.

i think that would be half the fun in it though if they dont teleport. they just fall to thier death and maybe just respawn next to another player.

i think it is possible like agent me said but u would have to do exactly what agent me did say u have to add spawns for the players and add the scripts on every lvl so make it so they get pulled to the check point spawns and cut scenes it would take alot of work and time

Or someone could take each checkpoint from each campaign map and duplicated every single weapon and AI spawn points and a shoot load of other things, and make it a MP map. =D it wouldn't have some stuff in the SP maps but oh well.
That post probably didn't make sense but oh well.

the main problem when trying that is how agent said, when you cross a loading trigger, the xbox will freeze. this is just hypothetical, based off of some researching of mine, but the thing is that the engine doesn't carry them over into the next sbsp, which causes a bug, because the players aren't suppose to exist in that nothingness, they are outside of the game boundries. hope this made sense to all ya

Guys its not possible to do it through campaign, testing has been done before but its never been successful.
