Helmet on ODST

How do i get a helmet off of it?

dont double post and instead of changing the default to odst change it to odst_grf or somthing like that

before i get into detail on how to do it, mostly cause i need to update the plugin at the site, I need to know two things.

1. What map did you get the marine from
2. Did you already set the string id in the bipd so it always spawns as an odst?

huh? Why do you need the map? I cant remember it,

And whaddya mean about the string ID? It does spawn as an ODST everytime though...

It spawning as an odst is the most important part anyway. First you need to update your hlmt plugin from here.

Go to the marines hlmt and go to the odst permutation, there might be more than one so you might have to do this for all of them, and look at the odst head's appearence chunk number is 3.

scroll down in the meta editor to the model variations reflexive and go to chunk 2 so it says head. In the same reflexive set the permutation chunk to 3 and you will see it says odst, see the link? Go through the head permutations till you see the one you and and look at its chunk number, for example johnson's head is 8. Once you got the number scoll back up and place that number in the appearence chunk number, save, and test. If it didnt work do the same thing to the other odst permutations.

there are more than one odst permutation, odst-cky is just one.

uhhh lets see I just did this...

Im pretty sure its chunks 5,6, and 7 in the variations reflexive, but Ill double check.

EDIT: Ya those are all of them. Just change all of the appearance chunk #'s to 8, and you'll have johnson in an ODST uniform.
