Alright, I have a bunch of Covie Gun Towers placed around my SP map,

Outskirts, but is there a way to make them shoot on their own? like a

phantom turret (meaning the phantom turret has AI, not that I want the gun

tower to shoot out phantom -proj-)

So, what I want is Covenant Gun Towers that shoot out their -proj- with their effects and everything, and I want them to do that by themselves, like AI

If this is possible, what do I need to do to my Towers?

I have a mod where you can use the covie mortar towers. If you learn how to spawn AI in a vehicle...then you got yourself a "living" covie mortar tower.

I think someone just released a tut on how to spawn ai in vehicles, or atleast the warthog i may be wrong though

If you want to make them look active, but without A.I. you could set the cannon's weapon to auto fire. And then mess around with the rate of fire, else it will just shoot a single burst every second.

What app would I use to make the tower fire automatically (no AI)?

Entity, with the latest weap plugin. Just switch to meta editor, and edit where it says something about 'button used to fire'. Or something similar.

hmm I know what you are talking about, but it only gives you the option of
R,L, or B.

I said you needed the latest plugin. Get a new weap plugin here.

oh, silly me. I was able to get it done in Insolence before I checked here again. But thanks for the plugin site!



PS how do I DL the plugins? I've made an account but I still can't download...

click the plugins on the left and highlight the whole text message and paste it in your entity plugin, use word pad or note pad
