well i downloaded the updateded maps mentioned hereand i got highplains2.map on my xbox. does anyone now if the patches highplains
are compatible with highplains2

I don't think they are because the maps are slightly different from each other. I noticed the death zones are different in each map

Patches made for highplanes.map usually can be used on highplane2.map and visa versa.

The only changes Bungie made, to my knowledge, was fixing the sbsp collision mesh and a couple other things.

Not true, I tried to patch my MainMenu with this,

And it didn't work, because I had Highplains2, they are both 2 different Maps. Or maybe it's just the MainMenu patch, lol

i think its because there 2 different maps but the only things that were wrong with highplaines in the first place was the little walls that were invisible which deflected bullets though i wish it was still there though haha instead of a bubble sheild i could of made a shield box to block stuff lol that you can't see

Thats cause you have to rename highplanes2 to highplanes.

Ya, the patch was made to add tombstone by the name of highplanes, not highplanes2. Just take the 2 off the filename.
