How to make a bipd stay on the map forever?

Trying to get some really cool pics with me standing in a pile of dead bodies, but they dissapear to quick :( any way to make them stay forever or to edit the time they stay on the map?

You could spawn dead bodies through the ITMC tag. I think there may be a tutorial on that, not sure.

well, since we do not really know much about the multiplayer globals (no one is looking at that tag) we can't keep bodies forever. We can spawn a bipd tag through the itmc, bloc, or whatever in the scenarios and then have it spawn through it's dead permutation or we can figure a way to keep the odies too by editing the multiplayer globals whch have all "less-lag" controls (removing used items, dead bodies, etc...)

^^^im fairly sure everthing you just said is wrong...

1. as i understand it bodies being removed is controled by the xbe
2. spawning through itmc etc gives a normal standing biped
3. there is no dead permutation
4. this has nothing to do with multiplayer globals

however i did just have an idea...theres a reflexive called "contact points" which tell the game where the biped feet are, i think if you nulled the marker references in there then the bipe would be in permanent rag doll...

Why not just shoot heaps of dead guys out of your gun and stand on them? :D

thats what i was getting at...until know shooting dead bodies hasn't been possible but i think what i said will work

i do seem to recall turk telling me about being able spawn dead bipeds but firing them from a gun is a lot more convinent

Or, you could swap a bloc with the object property of your biped, and spawn it through the ITMC tag.

Swap the bloc's hlmt to a spartan/elite, swap an itmc to your bloc, and then spawn it through netgame.

It takes a bit of positioning to make it look right. You'll probably also want to change the colors, otherwise they'll all spawn as white.

Just change those values in the bipd tag. The first Change Colors value (0: ) is the main armor color, and the second (1: ) is the plates on the legs and arms.

Ask Scotty about the dead permutation. He has done it in one of his Biohazard mods I believe. I have no idea why you would think it would lie within the xbe......

That works too but not what I had in mind. The permutation of a bipd is also another way to go.

i ment removing items to reduce lag is in the xbe

and there is not dead permutatoin look in the hlmt if you dont believe me
