Banshee look like longsword (as in the spacecraft)

I was wondering if anybody knows how to do this. All I know it that it is possible.

Just to make sure I did this right, does that mean go into the [weap] tag for the banshee_gun and add the hlmt tag to it?

No, inject the long sowrds hlmt into the map (insolence or entity will do) and then size down the llong sword's model (easily done with the model resizer app). Then just swap the hlmt of the banshee's weapon tag to the hlmt of the longsword.

So do you mean that the model for the banshee gun under the normal banshee's [hlmt] tag needs to be swapped or what?

dont use model resizer it messes up the uvw

step by step:

1. inject longsword hlmt into map
2. open banshee weap in entity
3. find hlmt dependacy (near the top)
4. change from null to longsword
5. null banshee shaders

optional
6. open longsword mode
7. change bounding box to resize

How the hell can it mess it up? I have done it plenty of times and also with the longsword! It is only like 2 textures (plus it has to be made smaller. The longsword is too big (or at leasst the one I sued last time).

Thank you so much, I finally got it to work. You should just make this into a tutorial that way people don't have to ask you for how to do this.
