looking at trees#2

when i look at my trees that i placed as machs, especially the leaves, the game sort of goes really slowly. especially when i shoot at it and am looking at the tree's leaves. this is bad because i am making a jungle mod. anyone know how to stop that?

What mach. did you use? I always use the containment bridge and just change the hlmt to the tree's. Works fine, never had a problem with doing it that way. Then again if you have done something else to the map that could also be causing it.

nonono, it's just allll of the trees. I used the zanzibar gate mach

idk then, all i can suggest is try using a different mach, like the one I mentioned in my above post, if not sorry I could'nt help and good luck!!

What method are you using to spawn them.

If you are spawning them though netgame equipment[itmc], make sure the chunk your using has the max on map set to 1.

If you are spawning them though machine placement, then I don't know...

Make sure that you don't have several trees which are spawned at the same coords, this can make the game lag a lot and more when you shoot onto the objects.

On the entity sbsp viwer clic twice on a tree if it's still selected it means you have several trees spawned at the same coord so seperate these trees if it's the case ;)

Hmmm... so which is it? Does the game go "really slowly" or "sort of... slowly?" I'm confused :(.

turn down all the power attributes that happens when u transfer the Zanzibar gate alot.

OK HERE IS THE DEAL!!!!

I duplicated the zanzibar mach a couple times, and renamed them to the name of the trees I was using

I changed the html of all of them to the tree I wanted

I nulled the duplicated mach's speed to 0

It is mostly when i look at the tree's leaves, the game goes slow. By this I mean that, say, you put a million grunts into a map, and you look at them. The game starts lagging. It's like that!

no, the trees are not put into the same spot, I'm very good at placing things through itmc and correctly.

do you guys need a picture?

one more note, the mach I am using was never on the map. In fact, the map doesn't even have machs, it's headlong

I was thinking to low the bouding radius how much trees do you have there?

Try to re-do the same thing on a clean map to see if it lag, and try another machine, set it to a "platform" on the mach meta.
