AI help

Ok heres the problem.. i can get ai in the map and map will load and i can play but 1 of 2 things always happens

-1- the AI spawns in the spot i put it but wont move only turns to look at me and nothing else

-2- The AI spawns in the spot i want it to and i can play the map but as soon as the AI spots me the game freezes

can anyone help me please :?

1. As of now, no one has succesfully implemented AI zones in any multiplayer maps (except for SP>MP BSP conversions). That means the AI will only look at you and turn and shoot; they won't walk around or hide behind things.

1. ai can't move yet because MP maps don't have AI Zones.

2. You need to null the sounds for the transferred AI. I forget, but i think that sounds become corrupted when transferred, so they screw up the game. So, in the html(i think) null all the UDLG tags for the AI.

1. You need a jmad and bipd swap. There is a tutorial on how to do it here, but I can't find it at the moment.

alright thanks guys that helps alot actually and one more thing.. is it possible to get the AI to respawn after you kill it? and gain points for killin it?

i did get the jmad transfered but he only runs when u stick um.. weird..

for the respawn you need to inject the respawn script. Don't ask me how I never done it but I know it works because my friend did it
