Halo 2 System Link Lobby: Boot or Ban?

Since there was a mod for the mainmenu with enabled the full variant editor, is it possible to modify to system link lobby so that u could boot or ban xbox MAC addresses from ur xbox, like basically booting ppl from a game.
Can this be done? if so, how?

No sure but maybe copying the boot chunk(if there is 1) from the xbl menu linking it to a player not a gamer tag then linking as and option teh it may work or wjen u start halo 2 it wont start

not sure if its been atempted but u would need to make a new menu slot and an option for in game. this is probably as difficult as the ai in mp confusion was, so good luck.

Banning would require you hard-code it in the XBE (I believe this would be the case, but I'm not knowledgeable on the subject.), as it isn't already there. Not going to happen. Just ban people on the tunneling service.

agreed there would probably need to be a build of yelo that would suport the change other wise it wouldnt show like when AI is disabled

I'd be floored if it were even possible with a trainer. I don't see it being likely at all, as I said, if I am correct in my assumption, you'd need a different build of the game.

I doubt you'll be able to use it in System Link at all, but you'd need to look in the XBE code to find the information.

i have never been good at coding, but i guess its a good place to start, what would i use to open it up? Hex Editor?

I doubt you'd be able to do it without the source. I don't see it being possible to code a boot function into System Link just by messing with values. It would require core coding, I presume.

this may be possible because sometimes when I'm done playing system link and I go on xbl, the player's i played with in system link show up on the recent players list. Also when you play system link and your host and someone betrays you a few times, it gives you that option to hold X to boot them. Basicly what you may need to do is to make the game think its in xbl when really its in system link. I don't think too many people will try to do this because it would involve lot of editing and everyone in the party would need the same modified menu and default.xbe. I don't think you its even possable to have that many modders with the same mainmenu and xbe in the same party to make you want to boot people.
I'm just guessing so correct me if I'm wrong.
If it is possinble your going to need a lot of people working on this to even come close to figuring this out

I don't really know how hard it would be, but its possible that someone with trainer and memory editting skills and knowledge of Telnet and all could make a trainer to do it, and create a list in a location, thought I beleive it would be pretty hard, Im not sure how this will end up, but I wouldn't expect this any time soon.
