I have tried numerous times to spawn one of these in the Sanctuary mod I'm making. I can get basically anything I want to spawn in my map, except this thing. It doesn't matter if I try to replace something in Netgame Equipment with it or if I clone a chunk in netgame and spawn it there; it won't appear in the BSP viewer or in-game.

I got it into my map by opening 05a_deltaapproach in Entity (UE 1.6), checking "Recursive", "Parsed", and "Sounds". I selected resupply_capsule_crate in the [bloc] tag and then clicked "Save". In my Sanctuary mod and I clicked "Build" and chose the .info I saved.

I tried to spawn it on a clean map, but still couldn't get it to appear.

I'm stumped....
Help....please? Anyone?

I followed that tutorial only using Entity UE 1.6. The chunk cloner part is a little different though. I clicked on the [scnr] tag and chose clone chunks, then expanded the nodes until I could see Netgame Equipment. I chose one of the weapons, in this case the Energy Sword, then cloned 1 chunk and added the meta to the map. Then I viewed the idents of the [scnr] tag and changed the cloned energy sword to the itmc I had cloned and pointed to the capsule's [bloc] earlier.

I also tried to change it to the capsule's [bloc] directly instead of the itmc.

I can spawn other things perfectly with either of these methods.

try spawning it the right way
go to the chunker for scnr
go to object placement
clone chunk one of them to how many things you want
then go to object plattlet
then clone chunk one of them to one
then add meta to map
go to the meta editor and link everything

I don't see "object placement" or "object palette" anywhere.

When viewing your map in Entity's BSP viewer, I've noticed that the "re-supply capsule" doesn't show up in the viewer.
I mean it does, but, it's like, invisible. ;)
You will only see the "clickable" box where it spawns, no model.
Newer versions of Entity won't even show those "clickable" boxes until clicked. I suggest using Entity 1.3, it will show all "clickables" even when they are not clicked.

I hope that helps.

Thanks everybody...I used Entity 1.3 and got it to spawn even though I couldn't see it in the BSP viewer. I had to get the Entity Alpha to be able to see the clickable box. The only problem is that the coordinates and the yaw, pitch, and roll are slightly messed up in the Alpha. I can deal with it though.
