Pelican Rolling/Flipping

Post by Shadowz_O_Death »

Hello everyone! I know that if you spawn a Pelican over a machine that it will not roll/flip, but I'm working on a mod with a Pelican in it and I thought that I'd try making it so it doesn't roll/flip when on BSP. Perhaps try making contact points on the four corners of the Pelican or fix the PHMO (Physics Model) in some way. I've seen a conversation with Doom and xzodia a while back discussing this issue, so I thought I'd bring it back... Has fixing the Pelican so it doesn't roll/flip been discovered by anyone? If not, will you guys please share your ideas/theories on making the Pelican not roll/flip? Perhaps we can come up with something... I'm not home at the moment, so I cannot really do much research. I'll see what I can do later on.

Regards,

I think it would be possable by stretching out the bsp collision, only donwside is i dont know how to do that yet. What we really need to find out is the location of the physical and Bsp collisions so that we can at some point add the physical to the bsp and make it sit right.
