lock-on rockets coming out of weapons

how could i make a , say, SMG shoot out rockets that are the kind when you lock on. i just love those things, and i have rocket lock-on bipd's and rocket lock-on throwable gernades. but how?

EDIT: and i have tried making the SMG shoot gernades that had the rocket meta on it already, doesnt work :(

Couldn't you just make the smg shoot rockets, and up the homing a ton?

i think the lock on feature is part of the rocket [weap] tag its self.

yes, it is the proj #2, but does that explain anything?

mabey if u look around in entiy under prj 2 there might be somthing.

well you need to find another weapon with 2 projectiles and replace the second projectile with the homing feature

and also, there is no 2nd proj anywhere for the rocket!

the second prj is the same as the first, there is somthing in the weap tag that makes it lock on to vichels.

edit: oh you probably mean chunk.......I'll get back to you on that one.

yes its the seconed chunk, taht chunk has the same exact rocket prj as the first chunk, but this chunk has a feature that lets u lock on, of u copy that chunk and paste it into another gun (in thery) it should work.

ya... i cant find it. i saw it here somewhere it was how to make bipts and objects lockonable. and yes there is a chunk under the rocket that is linked to the 2nd proj that makes it lockonable

that controls if the weapon can lock on, and it tells the second projectile to fallow the object.

u would duplicate the rocket launcher, in entity, then swap all the tags with the weapon u want, and change teh projectilles.

yuck, incorrect xml :?

its mosts most likely part of the trigger reflexive and might be to do with the rectical tag whatever it is...

EDIT: hey, i just found a difference in these two chunks in insolence, in the rocketlauncher weap tag, in the trigger reflexive! here's a pic

projetile reflexive actually, your plugins very out of date i've sussed it thanks to that bit of info, its explained on the front page of my site, but i still think that its partly down to the hud and i can't be bothered checking...

to do the smg, go to the triggers reflexive, change type to 1-Semi 2-Lockon, then change proj 2(index) to 0, then go to the projectile reflexive and check lockon then report back on what happens

EDIT: nope, that's just making a weapon being able to lock on to things, not shoot out the rocket lock-on rockets

forgot to mention you'll need to change the dependancy in the projectile reflexive to the rocket proj
