I just was wondering if it is possible to make a throw grenade explode and after the explosion a warthog come out? and i was wondering how to take sectons of various SP maps and use them for MP. if you can't tell me could you point me in the right direction.

for the hog one, you have to do chain spawning,

That's not entirely true. 1. You can edit out parts of a bsp after it is extracted. 2. SP maps have multiple bsps for each section of the level. You can use a SP bsp in MP, but I'm not sure how, because I never cared enough to try it myself.

1: You can not take out parts of the BSP, but however you can remove objects if it scenery, mach, etc.
2:You are correct on that.
