Skining help

stupid qestion i know but what part of the bit map do you skin to skin lets say a seat to a hog to ghost, or its plating?

The warthog seats are in the warthog standard bitmaps. The ghost's are the same.

How do we describe that to you? The hog seat is the one that looks like a seat in the top rightish corner of the dds, and the ghost seat is the part that looks like a seat, toward the top of the dds.

Skin different parts of the bitmap different colors. Whatever color the seat ingame is is the part on the .dds that is the seat.

That made little sense now that I read back on it, but oh well...

but one qestion
if i skin it like say make the whole thing blue like i just get ms paint and cover it blue will it take away the texture lines?

The lines in the Alpha Map should still be there, but I've never tried skinning with Paint so I really don't know.
