Im having trouble with playing the maps that i add to the mainmenu. First i downloaded a patch and applied it to my map then i renamed the map to something else. Then i used shade45's mainmenu editor and added the maps and i put the numbers (dont remember what they are called) at the bottom every ten apart. (150-160 and so on up to about 400). i resigned and tranfered everything over to my xbox and it says i failed to load the map really fast like it does when the map isnt there. I must have done something wrong so and ideas on what it was?

did you set the scenario tag in his mainmenu editor to the scenario tag that your map is located in?

I think so. One of the maps i was trying to add was Abyssal so i put the scenario of Abyssal in that slot. The base map was gemini, so are you saying that i should use the scenario of gemini in that slot.

No but i got the impression that i didn't have to do that with shade45's mainmenu editor.

You don't need a hex editor to add maps to the MM.

Just use Entity or Dot Halo. It is not that hard.
[matg] globals/globals
In Entity, go to the Meta Editor, in Dot Halo it should be in the Tag Editor.
You will see Multiplayer Maps(or Scenerios, I cannot look at it right now.) and you can add them there. Resign and FTP. Voila!
