If I made Halo 2 Models

I am not that good with intermediate to expert modeling, but i was just wondering if i did models from scratch. Would someone want to take those models and do all t he other things to it to make them work on maps, like the firing, positioning, and such?

I have a few ideas for models and i am very good at CAD so i was just gonna ask if anyone wanted to do this.

Dies anybody have any ideas for some kickass weapon models other than what i have here....

1. Gattling Gun
2. Double-Barrel Bazooka
3. Quad Barrel Pistol
4. Replica of Barret Sniper Rifle
5. Some old guns from CoD3 and such.

Anybody else have ideas?

do you mod halo or r u just posting this? its an easy task for a modder to inject a model and resizing is easy all u have to do is extract a model from a map the make it what size. or part of it atleast. i would help but randomly injecting models for viewing pleaser is a waste of time i mean people make full mods then inject models. thats why i never released weap war 1.1 because of the fact that it was pointless

He means custom animation, adn making the model look perfect. Custom animation is not possible yet, I am sure it will be soon.

Well i know that i started this a while ago, but now i have completed the gattling gun model. I dont feel like taking the time to do all the knick-knacks so if someone would like to, then plz be my guest, i just want credit for making the model.

is there a way to convert cad to obj? cause if so i could work with you on this to get it animated in game and add any other in game stuff also i have autocad knowledge and it would be great to know how to inject auto cad models

Yup, there is, get Autodesk 3DS Max 9, and import the DWG, then export is as an OBJ, but here is the thing, when u export that as the OBJ, it asks some techinical (to me) questions, so idk what to do.

ive just finished downloading autocad 2007 and i cause found an obj exporter and its really easy to use, you just tell it what objects to export, how high you want the quality and your done :D , so i started this:
(its a bit inaccurate in places but not bad for a 1st try i think)

Well i did get the bazooka done, but somehow i think i am missing something....

Does anybody have any ideas, i was thinking about a human air assault vehicle, i have a pretty good idea of what it would look like, but maybe somebody would like to see something special on it, ;)

Well i took the idea of the hoverboard mod (nice job Darkshallfall), i told him i would try to make a dif model, so here is what i came up with, this one i am hoping to put in-game and ride it, :D

bazzoka looks like the rocket launcher...

hoverboard is good but needs more detail

also you should render your models cause they would so much better rendered (see my render above)

the bazooka wasnt a good one...

the hoverboard took me about 1hr to do, yet the turbines came out as expected :) (what do u think the HB needs for detail though, :?)

as for rendering, i havent done that in a while. If u wish, take the OBJ/DWG and render it urself, or i guess i can do it, but my next one will be a replica of the spartan laser, and i already know how to make it just like the one in the h3 multi, so i guess i have some touchups to do after class today, :D

something around the edge, eh?

here is what i can throw in it from my idea....

1. Jagged Edge
2. A tube/pipe going around it
3. A border of some kind

idk, what u think, i like others ideas more than mine a lot ;)
