HaloMods "Classic" Read-only Archive

i hooked up my xbox to my pc and got and got ftp server running. but when i went throgh the files to find the halo 2 files i couldn't find them. i herad that they are suppoused to be in folder f, but its not showing up. acn some one tell me how to find the halo2 files?

The disc would be on D drive, wouldnt it? If you mean on the HD, that's under E.

i did what you said and the files still dont show up. i am using a softmod xbox with evox on it. also do i have to run the game to be able to access the files?

the F partition of the drive is only available if you put a bigger HDD in your xbox and format it with an F partition. as for the location of a game, it *should* be in /E/Games/Halo 2/ that is if you actually copied it to your HDD already. if you haven't i suggest DVD2Xbox as it makes the process easy.

how do you run dvd2xbox? i am new to the modding scene so i don'y know that much.

Really? After installing Evox i had an F partition, with a stock HDD.

dvd2xbox isnt that great for most games, it tries to copy the whole game on to the hdd, where as most times the game is too big to fit. Halo2 is one of those games and thus youll lose out on some essential maps (shared, spshared, mainmenu).

Just boot up your xbox dash, pop in the cd, start ftp once the cd is recognised and you should have a Ddrive appear which will contain the contents of the cd.

hmm, i don't know then. mine had no f partition.

With most softmod installers, you can choose whether you want an E or F.
