SMG -> Battle Rifle (1)

What i've done so far is I duplicated the Battle Rifle. Then I opened Dot Halo and switched most (almost all) of the dependencies with the battle rifle (1)'s. When I go and play the game when i'm in first person I can't see my weapon, but when i'm in third person or any other kind of view I can see the SMG but as a Battle Rifle. So how do I make it so that I see the SMG as a battle Rifle while in first person perspective and as well as third person perspective?

Also would it work better if I switch the meta for the SMG with that of the Battle Rifle (1) and then switch it so its automatic? That way I can still null out the scope and lens through shader swaps? (and don't worry the rest of the model is not going to be shader swaps. That is going to be skins (I can finally skin :D (but only with MS Paint :roll: )))

i thought that the scope was actually part of the model?

i bellieve in 1st person its not
to take off the scope go to the mode and null out the scope shaders
then after that to giv it no zoom go to the meta editor of the weap and try to find the zoom and put all its values to 0
