Mods and Super Weapons

I'm sure some of you have seen the Why We Mod topic in the Project Recruitment forum but I didn't get enough suggestions of what I was looking for there. The video is very close to being finished now and I am in the process of refining certain parts and adding a few clips to the end.

What I need is some suggestions for mods to do. I'm particularly looking for mods with some sort of super weapon in them. These weapons are on the caliber of a small nuke and can usually wipe out an entire team if they are close enough together. An example of a super weapon would be the air strike thing in Mr. Murder's Nightwinder 2. And no, a weapon that shoots 100 wraith shots does not count...

I always wanted to see someone make a good nuke with radation and fire and stuff, not just a huge bomb with an invisible shockwave.

And heres an interesting one i made. If u take any large object (like a crate) and spawn 50 in one spot in a single shot. the game fails to load it, but also will create an eracer effect like deleting peoples vehicles while driving them (they just fall out and are on foot now).

I'm not really looking for "destroying" something. I'm just looking for the big explosion like Mono's or SwampFox's nuke. I also wouldn't mind just seeing some cool mods. I'm running out of ones with neat things for the vid.

Though it's not what you're looking for, this is what comes to mind when I think of a "super weapon." I would like to see a weapon with some sort of a short-range lightning bolt-looking projectile that, when used against an enemy, will slightly cripple the enemy (as long as the beam is still on him) and draw the opponent's energy and give it to you. As their energy is depleted, your overshield (or regular shields, if they are low) will be charged.

I hope this makes sense... I doubt it's possible, but that's my kind of super weapon.

If you really wanted to spend time on a mod to get a cool mod, then you could probably script a pelican to fly over when you pull the trigger (you could change the x,y, and z axis in H2X. Then, when it flies over, make something trigger some missiles to come down (like from the pelican) and when it hits, make your own effect to where you see the same thing as when you look at a paved road when its hot (the little fumes that come up above it, making the road blurry). So, right where it hits, you see fire or something, and the after effect is a shockwave that you ca see that flies out in all directions.

dam some sweet ideas!

i always enjoy setting the rocket initial speed low, and then the final speed high, that way it looks like a real air fighter missile... add a nice shockwave effect and your good to go for a cool ending!

Actually Chad, if you recall the skull you can acquire in single player on the last level I believe above/behind the entrance of where you fight Tartarus. That skull changes gameplay in that, as you damage enemies, you regain shield. Giving you the chance to have a full overshield if crippling enough opponents. Although, if you don't hurt opponents and take damage, your shield won't recharge...leaving you for dead basically. That could be studied/used to help with your suggestion ;).

Now just try playing that level on legendary, grabbing that skull, and fighting brutes and Tartarus... pain the ass :P

P.S. I do happen to have a nice little mod where I acquire Force Lightning like Darth Sidious 8)

I would also like to see a guided missile. It would be cool to shoot the rocket launcher (or a like weapon) and have your camera change to a 1p view for the projectile, giving you control of its movements. Like my previous idea, I doubt this will work. It would be cool, however...

I thought of one use the scarab beam and then use a scaled down verson of the shock wave from the new mobbesa cenmatic.

2.Simmir to my idea above but use a resized rocket and no contrail then shock wave on impact also You could insert a model designator. PM me I can get more detaled ideas.

So exile how long is it going to be until this montage comes out, i'm on this weapon making appaloosa, but they probably won't be done for a couple of weeks and won't be incorporated into a complete map for a month or two
